Day 19 On the road between the great sandy desert and the 1,000 mile beach. Iron Ore country, Western Australia. Rise and shine at Camp peacock. Then on to a mystical cycle on miles of puffy white sand, with wild shells and no human presence. To top it off, a unique encounter with a venomous water snake. Although I kept moving away from her, the ebb and flow of the waves kept bringing this creature back to my feet. Further down the road we made camp at what I deem the worst campsite of my life! However all was redeemed when we managed to find a sumptuous meal at the Esplanade which I can honestly say was one of the best meals of my life!! What a marvellous dichotomy!
